THE BRIEF
Hadara Magazine is a leading, Sharjah-based bi-annual journal encompassing culture, the arts, design, architecture, business, entrepreneurship, travel, and lifestyle.
Our brief was to create synergy across the magazine’s offline and online presence, and hone in on its unique modern perspective of the region and the people who are shaping it.
We needed to free Hadara from the limits of print media industry trends by allowing it to also constantly connect and engage with a digital community.

OUR APPROACH
With our integrated strength and experience in Strategy, Creative, Production, and Digital, we were able to quickly transform Hadara’s written material into a dynamic, impactful visual experience that was coherently applied across all Hadara’s social media platforms.
Along with the content featured in the magazine, we widened our content pool by highlighting emerging talent, famous artists, travel destinations, art exhibitions, and key cultural events such as Dubai Design Week, Sikka Art & Design Platform, Sharjah Biennial and the Al Hosn Festival – bringing Hadara’s mission to life in unique new ways.
We also got to expand our own worldview by arranging riveting interviews with notable artistic thought leaders such as Sheikha Hoor Al Qasimi, President and Director of Sharjah Art Foundation; Patricia Millns, the Elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in London; Alia Bent Sultan, an Emirati photographer; Fatma Al Mahmoud, Head of 1971 Design Space and Maraya Art Centre; and Karim Tamerji and Elias El Hage, the renown Lebanese multidisciplinary design duo, to name but a few.
THE RESULTS
Through our high quality, beautifully produced content and always-on social media strategy we helped Hadara expand its presence beyond a bi-annual print magazine – successfully bridging the gap between offline and online.
As a result, Hadara are now able to reach a wider audience, as well as attract more talented and high profile people keen to be featured in the magazine. The brand has also enjoyed an increase in both readership and engagement across its various channels.
